Hi friends! We apologize that it has been a while since you’ve heard from us. We’ve continued to work on custody issues for Marius but most of what we are doing now, moves along slowly and without a lot of fanfare.
TeamMarius 5/30/08 Update
We hope this update finds you all well and happy. Marius is doing so well!! His personality and sense of humor are just off the charts. He is learning english phrases for his trip to America and he has sat up on his own a few times in preparation for the long plane flight. He is even trying to put some weight on his feet. We hope that in a months time we will have all that we need in order to fly him over here!

Simple Ways You Can Help Marius
1. Sign up to stay informed. We send out short updates on regular basis about Marius' progress and our efforts to help. Sign up is simple, just enter your email address in the column to the left and click "submit."
2. Let Marius know that you are thinking of him. There is great power in unified faith and simple statements of love and encouragement. Click here, to send a message to Marius. Jessica and Ashley will make sure the messages get translated and delivered to Marius to help brighten his day.
3. Make a donation. We've set up an account called the Marius Burn Fund at Wells Fargo to accommodate donations If you are interested in donating to this cause, you can a) go to any Wells Fargo and make a deposit directly to the fund, b) send a check made out to the Marius Burn Fund to 3091 Davencourt Loop, Lehi, UT 84043, or c) click on the donate button to the left and do it online. All donations will go entirely toward this effort to help Marius.

Marius has made a lot of progression in his exercises and movement. He can sit up for short amounts of time with no problems and can get into and out of a wheelchair with only a little bit of help. He loves to be pushed up and down the hallway outside his room.
We have a new game we play where we pretend a balloon is a bomb and we throw it at each other. I know it sounds silly, but he loves it. His burns are looking better every day. His beautiful blue eyes and big smile always brighten up my day!

Sorry I haven't sent you an email sooner. We were out of the hospital for a few days and we've finally gotten back into the swing of things.
